BIOGRAPHY
For about 11 years Feral Drollery's rather self-indulgent one-man show has been keeping the Portland area awkwardly giggling with their shameless public spectacle.
Inspired by a ferocious desire to create something hideously beautiful (but having zero desire to have kids), FD formed in 1999. Armed with a crappy old acoustic guitar, an ESP ltd bass, a toy keyboard purchased for about $40, two boomboxes with dual cassette decks and built-in microphones, and a little FX box-- Gog poured his efforts into his first experimental solo works, then called FDA (Fuck Death Away). Over the years, the gear and the music slowly evolved. The name changed to Hyphen, and eventually Feral Drollery. Each name change ushered in a new level of WTF-ness, but also new levels of finesse.
